"This is the same old thing ©oming up again," oommehted the presidenf of the Hawke's Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Society, Mr J. H. Ahsdlom, a| to-day's meeting of the executivo o| the society, when a letter was received from the Hawke's Bay braiujh of thq New Zealand Farmers' Unfpn ptating that at a meeting held recently thd question of inferior ramg being offered - for sale at -the ram'fairs again came up for consideration and it waa agreed that the most satisfactory way to d^al. with the question was a roundrtabl# conference of representativeg from thqvarious breed societies, the Hawke's Bay A. and P> Society, the afesociated auctioneers and the union, and asking for the co-operation of the society and an early reply. "Do you think legislation oould ims prove the breed of our abeep ?" remarks ed one member. "You want to educate the huyers,** said another member. The letter was received, the society deciding to take no action in the ma$» ter.
