Taranaki Contractor Successful Tenderer

MAY BEGIN NEXT WEEK

Messrs-Bunn and Son, Waitara, Taranaki, are the successful tenderers for the metalling of the Pakowhai road in preparation for bitumen-sealing next summer. The work will involve the spreading of 6,750 yards of red metal from the Redclyffe quarry. The Hawke's Bay County Council is taking steps to have the work started immediately, and it is hoped that the ccntractors will be on the job next week.
