Waipukurau I.O.O.F.

WAIPUKURAU, Last Night. The quarterly meeting of the Waipukurau Lodgie, I.O.O.F., was held in the Masonic Hall on Monday evening, Bro. J. D. O'Dwyer presiding over a large attendance of members. Four candidates were initiated into the Order. The election of officers resulted: — N G., Bro. M. Doran; V.G., Bro. J. G. Milne ; Rec. toec., Bro. Jinn Lovett ; Fin. Sec., Bro. F. Sayliss, P.G. ; Treasurer, Bro. R. Brasell, P.G. The installation is to be held on April 12. Letters were received from Bros. A. Guy; I.P.G.M., , D. Turkington, P.D. D.G.M., and others, congratulating the Waipukurau and1 Arlington Rebekah lodges on the way they had conducted the recent functions at which the D.D. G.M. was installed and expressing appreciation of the hospitality extended tQ the visitors. The Lodge passed a resolution thanking Sister N. Turner, of Arlington Rebekah Lodge, and Mrs E. J Turner, for so ably assisting in the organisation of the function.
