Annual Meeting Held

WAIROA, Last Night. At the annual meeting of the Wairoa Basketball Assoeiation the election of officers resulted as follows: Patron, Mr D. Glengarry; presiclent, Mrs M. B. Svensen; vice-presidents, Mrs H. L. Harker, the Rev. Fatlier Doherty, Mr J. R. Gillespie, Mrs J. Lindsay," Messrs A. H. H. Uwin, J. Svensen, G. Willianison, F. Benson, Mrs W. J. Osler, Messrs A. Law, J. Wilson, and Mr V. Winter, jun.; secretaTy, Jffiss M. Prior;; treasurer and assistant secretary, Miss P. Le Gras; hon. auditor, Mr W. A. Crarer. The annual report and balhnce sheet were read, the latter showing' a loss of sixpence on the year's working. The assoeiation still has a fair balance in 'hand. The opening day has been lixed for April 14, when a tournament will he played.
