TAKAPAU, Last Night.
The Takapau Defence Rifle Club fire its weekly shoot on Brookwood Range on Saturday, the competition being tbe fourth round of tbe Lowes Cup and Mr W. Edgecombe's trophy (10 rounds at 800 and 900 yards; standard 91). .Raiu interfered with riflemen at the 900 yards range, which was fired m a drizzle with a ratlier tricky wind Mr Edgecombe's trophy was won. by G. Jackson on tbc count back. Mr Bj'nrngaad's Challenge Buttons were won by G. Jackson and A. Edwards.
