Annual General Meeting

HATUMA, This Day. The election of officers for the forthcomingi season of the Hatuma Debating Society took place in the Hatuma Hall, and resulted: President, Mr G. Edgecombe ; secretary, Mr Reg. Thomsen. A small committee was also set up. During the meeting Mr ,R- Edgecombe moved a hearty vote of thanke to the ladies for providing the supper during the last season.. It was decided to hold the first debate on April 15, and the subiect chosen was: "That party politics is a failure." The speakers are to be : Affirmative, Messrs R. Edgecombe, G. Edgecombe and R. Thomsen; negative, Messrs A. Ferguson) J. Edgjar and C Thomsen.
