CARS COLLIDE
Passengers Escape Serious Injury LIGHTER VEHICLE 0VERTURNS As the result of a collision between two cars at the intetsection of the Maraekakaho road and the Napier-Wel-lington highway shortly after five ; o 'clock yesterday af ternoon, one of the vehicles was overturned but the occupants, Mr and Mrs Neilson A. Rees, of Palmerston North, were not seridusly injured. Mr and Mrs Rees were proceeding along the main highway and the other vehicle, driven by MilSB Mary McDonald, of Te Aute road, Havelock North, was travelling along Maraekakaho road. The impact was a fairly severe one, Miss McDonald's car being of a heavier type than the other. Everyone concerned was hadly shaken, but not to the exteut of requiring medical or hospital attention. Mrs Rees was the worst affected; she isuffered a number of minor eus and bruises to the head.
