PALMERSTON, N. This Day. The driver of a car which left the road at the top of Mount Stewart last evening and, striking a bank, cam© to rest upside down with wheels in. the air, had a narrow escape irom death, He was David N. Strang, of 192 St Helier's Bay road, Auckland, motor agent. H© suffered slight cuts on the face. A passing motorist came to his assistauce and he .was taken to Feilding for medical attention and subsequently removed to the Palmerston North hospital ,thi© authorities of which report that his condition is quite good.
