FRENCH MATELASSE WORN BY NAPIER BRIDE

McKEE — BURR0W WEDDING On Wednesday evening last the Congregational Church, Napier, was the scene of the wedding of Phyllis Ada, daughter of Mr. and the late Mrs, A. Burrow, Greenmeadows, and William George, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. W. McKee, Clive. The Rev. N. Burgess performed the marriage ceremony and Mr. J. Rockell presided at the organ. ( The briae, who was escorted by her father, wore a gown of ivory French matelasse, cut on classical lines. The beautiful embroidered veil fell softly over the gown, forming a second train. She carried a beautiful shower bouquet of dahlias, magnolias, rosebuds and maidenhair fern. The bride was attended by two maids, the Misses Nancy Turton (bride 's cousin) and Ivy McKee (bridegroom 's sister). They were frocked alike in blue floral georgette, patterned in autumn tonings. Mrs. W. McKee, bridegroom 's mother, wore navy blue ensemble with lace front and cuffs, navy hat with feather mount, and carried a bouquet in autumn tonings. Mrs. W. T. Ennor, who was hostess, wore a midnight blue model, figured in red, navy hat, with red mount, and carried a scarlet bouquet. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr. Frank McKee, brother of the bridegroom, and Mr. Noel Burrow; the bride 's brother, acted as groomsman. Messrs. G. E. and R. H. Ennor, cousins of the bride, were urhers. As the bride left the church she was presented with a lucky horse-shoe by little Beth Ennor, a cousin. The guests then motored to the Greenmeadows Hall, where they were received by Mr. and Mrs. McKee, bridegroom 's parents, Mrs. W. T. Ennor (bride 's aunt), and Mr. A. Burrow (bride's father). The bride travelled in a navy blue pin spot costume, navy hat with small eye-veil, shell pink smocked blouse and navy bag, gloves and shoes and fur stole, the gift of the bridegroom. On their return Mr. and Mrs. G. McKee •will reside at Clive.
