After landing at Westminster Pier they will proceed through the subway which leada direct* ly to the Houses of Parliament. It was stated yesterday that: Westminster Pier, now being reflttedl and lengthened, will be closed to th* general public during the day-tim* hours nf Coronation' Day. - Arrangements are being ', made by launch-owners to taka partieg t* Westminster. These parties will be able to see th* illuminations from the water diiring the Coronation period. There will be a constant procession np and down the Tiver of beflagged and decorated small craft. Buildings along tho water frontage from Westminster: to the- Pool of " London will be " floodlit. - There will be two-hour cruises to view. - those ships of the '.Fleet moored i* the Pool and Off Greenwich. Three hundred offleers from the Royal Military Acadecny af Woolwich will be conveyed by water to Westminster early in the morning of Coronation Day to line the route of the proces«i sion through Whitehall. Afterwards the pier will be reserved exelusively for the use of parties with special permits and for the arrival and departure of large contingents of th* 35,000 L.C.C. school children, who will see the procession from stafids along thq Victoria Embankment. The Education Committee- has practically decided that the children from riverside boroughs shall'be conveyed to Westminster by water instead, of being sent through the streets in; 'fleets' of coaehes. • • ' i
