He has distributed the sum of £900, and tlxe balance is being held meanwlxile in reserve. The folloxxdxxg grants out of the money have been decided upon to date -• £ Cripplcd Chiidi'en's Association . (Napier bx-ai'ch) 400 Blind Institute of Nexv Zealand 100 Haxvke's Bay Children's Home 100 Plunket Society (Napier branch) Red Cross (Napier branch), for nursiiig purposes 50 St. Jolm Ambulance Association 50 St. Mary's Home 50 St. . Vincent de PauJ Society 50 Total £900. Mr Morse said yesterday that none of the balance of the money would- be used in connection with th© Mnyor's lielief Fund. Various applieations from individuals had been received and these would be. handled witli out any , puhlicity being given,. ^
