QUIET WEDDING IN WAIPAWA ON MONDAY

Davies — Moore A quiet wedding was solemnised ou Monday afternoon at St. Peter's Anglican Church, Waipawa, wheii Rowena, daughter of Mr and Mrs P. Moore, "Rangitapu," Waipawa, was nlarried to T^ssul, son of Mr and Mrs Davies, of Hastings. The K#v. W. T. Drake performed the ceremony, and Mrs Drake presided at the organ. The bride. who entered the church with her -father, looked charming in her wedding gown of parchment lace, cut on classical lines, and having very full sleeves and 6lim fitting skirt forming a train. Her exnbroidered tulle veil fell from a tulle cap aud she carried a bouquet of carnations, roses and ferh. The bridesmaid, Miss Barbara Moore, .wore a dainty frock of nile green georgette and lace and wore a head-band in tones of apricot. Her bouquet was coxnposed of roses in shades of apricot, and fern. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr Ralph , Bowden. After the ceremony a reception was held at ' the Empire Hotel. When the happy couple left on their hontyn-oon, the bride looked smart in her white fiecked navy frock, navy fin-ger-tip lengtb coat, and navy accessories. The future home of Mr and Mrs T. Davies will be ".Ngaheri," Waipawa.
