AU REVOIR PARTY FOR POPULAR HASTINGS NURSE
The residence of Mrs Hunter, Dovedale road, Hastings, was a scene oi gaiety when Mrs Hunter gave a farewell party for her niece, Miss Rene English, who has been nursing in tlie Hastings Memorial Hospital for the past eighteen months and will leave shortly for Wellington, where she will continue her training at the Wellington Hospital. A pleasant evening was spent in party games and competitions and community singing. At supper the customary toasts were honoi-.-td and the hostess presented her niece with a handsome travelling hat-box in memory of the happy evening. , Miss English suitably repiied to the expressions of goodwill from everyone.
