Manawata Easter Golf Tonrney H0RT0N BEATEN IN FINAL The Manawatu Golf Club's Easter tourney conciuded yesterday with J. P. #Hornabrook, New Zealand Amateur Uhampion, defeating T. H. Horton, exNew Zealand champion, 2 and 1 in the open final. Hornabrook established an early lead and although Horton recovered at the tail-end o£ the match, ifc was largely due to Hornabrook's mistakes rather than outstanding play on the part of Horton. Details were as ifoilows: — Champions^ps. 1 Semi-finals — J. P. Hornabrook beat 0.; H. Williams 1 up. T. Horton beat G. A. Anderson 3 and 2. Einal — Hornabrook beat Horton 2 > and 1.
