OMAKERE PARTY FOR A FUTURE BRIDE

Lasfc Friday night at the Omakere Hall3 a, gift evening was arranged by friends of Miss Rowie Moore, whose maxriage to Mr. T. Davies is drawing near. Mr. Prebble was at the piano and assisted by Mr. A. Kittow on the cornet, gave dance musie which was thoroughly appreciated by all. Community singing and games were also indulged in. A dainty supper was provided by the ladies at the conclusion of which Mr. 0. Laverty asked Miss Moore to accept the gifts which were before her as a token of the esteem with which she was held in the district. Mr. Davies on behalf of Miss Moore suitably replied. Dancing was again continued and at l a.m# the happy party broke up after singing "Auld^Lang Syne" and the National Anthem
