CHOIR PRESENTATION AT ST. MARY'S WAIPUKURAU

On Sunday, after the evening service, the members of St. Mary's Church choir, Waipukurau, gathered in the vestry to bid farewell to Mrs W. Sharpin and her son Peter, who are leaving Waipukurau to reside in Hastings. 'Ihe Rev. Cauou E. D. Rice, in making a presentation of a handsomely bound hymn hook to Mrs Sharpin and a fountain pen to Peter, on behalf of the choir members spoke feelingly of their departure, stating that it was with deep regret they all said goodbye but hoped they would be very bappy in their now home, and wished them . every success for the future. Mrs Conder, another choir member, whose marriage took place recently, was also the recipient of some very pretty cups and saucers. Miss B. Merryless in making the presentation on behalf of the members, wished Mrs Conder mnch future happiness.
