Mrsi W. Irvine, Whangarei, is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. T. G. Given, Waipukurau. Bro. A. J. Guy, Grand Master, N.Z. I.O.O.F., who is attending the New Zealand Oddfellows' Conference in Palmerston North, is to pay an official visit to Waipukurau on Monday. The f ollowing members of the Waipukurau Fire Brigade have returned after representing the brigade at the New Zealand Fire Brigades' Annual Conference and Demonstration at Nelson: — Superintendent J. A. Chambers (viee-president U.F.B.A.), Foreman A. S. Annand (oflBeial judge), and Firemen H. Scherf, H. Woodward, R. Spotswood, J. Arlidge, and T. Spencer. Dr. T. Seton Norris, and Mrs Norrie have returned to Waipawa after spendingj a boliday in Wellington.
