A request from the Auckland Association that BJandford, EH, Gallichan and Lamason b© included in the Auckland team for the match against M.C-C. was announced at ;a meeting of the management co.mmittee of the Wellington Cricket Association tonight. The communication was received before Lamason's inclusion in th© New Zealand team. It was resolved to thank.th© Auckland Association for giving these men an opportunity to play against the Englishmen. That no selections for N©w Zealand touring teams be publicly announced until the players had passed the required medical examination was carried as a recommendation to the New Zealand Council.
