Nuhaka Accident Victim's Large Funeral

WAIRUA, JL«ast Night. The funeral of Mr. Wilfred Black took place at the Wairoa Cemetery yesterday afternoon, there being present a large number of town and country residents. The Rev. N. Finch performed the burial service, and at the close the members of the U.A.O.D., led 1 by Bro. J. Bretherton, carried out the ritual service of the order, of which body the deceased had been a member, 30 brethren forming a guard of honour around the coffin. The pall-bearers were Bros. J. Walker, Schwap (2), Hickling, Pearson and Symes. A large number of floral emblems were sent.
