A satisfactory year has been experienced by the Puketapu Women's Institute which held its annual meeting yesterday, when there was a large attendance. Alexander 's competition for most points scored during tne year in home mdastries resulted: — Mra. E. Boyd 1, Mrs. W. Kinross 'White 2, Mrs. J. Alexander 3. Most points scored in flower section during tiie year; — Mrs. J. Alexander 1, Mrs. E. Boyd 2. Activities for the coming year were discussed and it is hoped that tiie meetings will be instructive and alford social pleasure to members. At the invitation of Mrs. Kinross White the next meeting will be held at her beautiful home at Omarunui.
