Waipawa Leading in Senior Division HIGH STANDARD OF PLAY The second day's play in the Hawke's Bay Polo Club's annual yau ke© tournament at Hastings ytotciday provided many exceJhmt games and a few surprises. The stjcderd of play showed an improvem°r-\, on tho first day, the teams sotfcii .g down better. In the eenior divi3ior Hawke's Bat Wallingford and Rangi :H*ei A again te cured wins in the opou and the last mentioned gained & win in the handicap event, Hawke's Bi 7 haviug to bv content with a draw in this event. On the opening day ali these three teams suffered defeat in the handieap eveut. the present leaders being Waipawa with two wins. Tho ;rnior divismn. in tbe opou, it led by Atua and Rangitikei B with two wins eacb, and ta tho handieap Atua are ieadmp equal tith Taihape aud Waimiii.ma. The performances of Taihape and Atua, two of the younger teams in the junior division have been the' subject of much favourable comment, Atua particularly being praised for their general team work.
