The inonthly meeting of the MethodiBt Ladies' Guild was held on Thursday afternoou, Mrs S. Bott presiding. Subsequent to the disposal of routine business and devotional exercises a very interesting address was given by Pastor D. Neilsen, of the Oeylon and India General Mission, dealing with the life and customs of tho Indian people At the conclusiou of his address a vote of thanks was accorded, after which a dainty afternoon tea, served by the hostess, Mrs A.
