TANK REGIMENTS
Fast-Advancing German Development SHORTAGE OF OFFICERS (Reeeived 8, 12.45 p.m.) LONDON, March 7. The Sunday Times says; "Germany is forming two new tank regiments, by which she is possibly planning to create a fourth mechanised division. She already has six tank regiments comprising 250 tanks each, two of which, with a reeonnaisance group of armoured cars, a mechanised cavalry regiment and a artilleiy regiment, form a mecha- | nised division able to advance ten miles | an hour as a whole while scouts move 20 miles an hour. "These three divisions possess a high concentration of fire a.Ad are the most outstanding featu'es of the German army. "Germany also is forming additional artillery units but has delayed fulfilment owing to shortage of officera."
