QUIET WEDDING HELD IN HASTINGS ON SATURDAY PIPER—STOWE
A very quiet wedding was solemnised at the Methodist Church, Hastings, by the Rov. R. B. Gosnell, on Saturday evening, when Eunice, youngest daughI ter of Mrs. F. Stowe, Beresford street, Hastings, was married to Marshail EdI ward, only son of Mr. and Mrs. F. ' Piper, of Wairoa and formerly of Hastings. The briae, who was given away by her brother, Mr. C. J. Stowe, wore a rnodel junxper suit in the new coronation blue with a small blue hat and matcliing accessories, She carried a bouquet of rosebuds and ferns. For the past seven vears the bride has been a member of the stalf of the 'Hastings Women 's Rest and before leaving she was presenled with a dinner service by Mrs. Hagenson, the matron, on behalf of hcr fellow J workcrs and friends, Mr. aud Mrs. M. E. Piper will reside lin Wairoa.
