TEACHER FAREWELLED

Miss R. McCartie At Frasertown on Wednesday Miss E. McCartie, in charge of the infant department, and who has been appointed infant mistress at Tikokino, was tendered a farewell. Games, competitions and afternoon tea made a pieasant function. During the afternoon Miss McCartie was the recipient of a very fine manicure'set, the mothers present paying a tribute to Miss McCartie. The recipient made a suitable reply and the gathering closed with Auld Lang Syne and "For She's a Jolly Good Fellow. " A pretty incident when tlie guest entered the hall was the presentation of a beautiful bouquet by little Katb Beclcett. The bouquet was the work of Miss Rona Unwin.
