Mr L. R. Cutforth Going to Tauranga Mr I/. R. Cutforth, who has resigned his position as first assistant in tlie secondary department of the Waipukurau District High School, expects to leave Waipukurau about Easter to take up a position as first assistant in the primary department of the Tauranga District High School. Mr Cutforth, who has been resident in Waipukurau for nine and a-half years. wa3 a very popular master and will be greatly missed, having been a keen member of the Waipukurau Bowling Club, and tbe Maharakeke Golf Club, He was also keenly interested in Rugby football, in whieh he frequently aeted as a referee. Mr Cutforth was also secretary of the Central Hawke's Bay brannh of the Teachers' Institute for some year*.
