Wednesday The Half-day

ORMONDVILLE, Last Night. The Town Board met last evening. •Present: Messrs. Newling, Berkahn and Fothergill. Apologies for absenee were reeeived from Messrs. Benbow and Chapman. The Minister of Labour wrote declaring Wednesday to be the half-holiday for the board 's district. Accounts amounting to £16 8/- were passed for payment. The question of the cleaning of footpaths and drains, and the cemetery grounds, was left in the hands of tho chairman. Welcome Rain. Welcome rain fell on Tuesday evening, which will have freshened the gardens and pasfcures and put ^ little water in tanks, which wero running low.
