LUNCHEON PARTY GIVEN FOR MRS ADAM BELL
Mrs Selwyn Chambers and Mrs F. X. Faulkner, Havelock North, worc hostesses at a jolly luncneon party m the Hawke;s Bay Farmers ' lea-rooins. given in honour of Mrs Adam Beli, wno ieaves next week with ner daugnter Margar^t for Hngland. Mrs Bell's friends were doliglited to have an opportunity to wish ner bou voyage and a very happy lioliday and after luneheon a pleasaut time was epent chatting in the club lounge. A charming idea was iutroduced into the fioral decorations on the diniug table, which were carried out in red, white and blue with red verbenas, blue delphiniums alid dainty white liowera in anticipation of the coiours for the Coronation, which the guest-of-honour will see wliile in London. Mrs Bell wore a smart suit of black. and white crepe-de-chene with white flowers at the neck and a black hat. Mrs F. K. Faulkner's suit was of pink marocain spotted in navy und white and pink roses trimmed her black hat. Mrs iSelwyn Chainbers wore a frock of navy blue ligurod in applo greon and white and a navy hat. During the past few days Mrs Bell has been the guest-of-honour at numevi ous luneheon, dmner and bridge parties given by her friends. The guests at th'e luneheon were: — Mrs W. N.
