MR AND MRS C. LINWOOD FAREWELLED AT NAPIER

On Friday evening a large party of friends gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. Douglas, Elizabeth road, Napier, to bid farewell to two very popular people, Mr. and Mrs. O. Linwood, Who are shortly leaving Napier to take up their Tesidence in Wanganui. The evening was a particularly pleasant one, ■ oiah-jong and tripley, a new game, causing fun and enjoyment for the guests. The drawing room where the guests were entertained had for its att ractive floral decoration bowls of asters and croeus. A delieious supper was servod, and those present took the opportunity of wishing Mr. and Mrs. Linwood farewell and happiness in their new home. Mrs. Douglas was wearing a very attractive deep saxe blue georgette frock with an evening coatee of floral ninon shaded in blue and deep mauves. Mrs. Linwood wore a eharming oveniiig frock with matching coatee of coffee lace, sashed in brown with a scariet shoulder spray. Those who were present included:— Mr, and Mrs. H.
