AFTERNOON PARTY FOR NAPIER HOLIDAYMAKERS
Mrs. E. A. W. Henley, who leavec. for England next week, and Mrs. F. A. Hetley, .who is also Homeward bound in April, were guests of honour at a delightful bridge party given by Mrs. Herbert Humphries, Mrs. , Walter EEumphries and Mrs. J. Henderson at the Hawke's Bay Women 'e Club. Tables for bridge and mah jong were set in the card Toocn, and for afternoon tea the guests adjourned to the dining-joom, where the -guests of honour received many wishes for a happy holiday. The hostesses received their guests in the lounge, where huge bowls of green and blue hydrangeas, mixed zinnias and dahlias had been ar* tistically arranged by Mrs. F. N. FusselL Mrs. JSenley wore a navy blue and white floral ninon frock; navy hat, with feather mount. Mrs. Hetley was also in blue, with hat to tono. Mrs. H. Humphries wore a blue crepe de chine frock- figured in white, and blue hat. A green frock and white hbt was worn by Mrs. W. Humphries, and Mrs. Henderson was wearing a blue suit, with hat to tone. Those present were: Mrs. H. Humphries, Mrs. W. Humphries, Mrs. W. J* Henderson, Mrs. E. A. W. Henley,' Mrs. F. A. Hetley, Mrs. F. N. Fussell, Mrs. W. G. Wood, Mrs. T. Gilray, Mrs. R, I. Sutton, Mrs. R. D. Kettle, Mrs. J* Mason, Mrs. H. Douglas, MrSi M. M. Carlile, Mrs. C. Cornford, Mrs. E. Cornford, Mrs. H. E. Troutbeck, Mrs. V. Cox, Mrs. J. P. D. Leahy, Mrs. T. M. Geddis, Mrs. G.
