OUTGOING COMMITTEE ENTERTAINED IN NAPIER BY GUILD CHAIRWOMAN

A v'ery happy party took place on Thursday morning when Mrs E. A. W. Henley, chairwoman of the _ Napier Townswomeu's Guild, eptertained at morning tea members of the outgoing committee. The tables were very attractively arranged with flowers _ i'n rose toning, and an added attraction wa? the lovely ishoulder sprays of real flowers laid at each' guest 's ' place by the hostess. On arrival Mrs Henley was presented with a beautiful bouquet ofCTeam water lilies and rosebuds.. After a delicious tea had been served, Mrs Henley expressed her deep appreciation of the committee 's loyal sapport during the past year, and in appreciation of Mrs C. J, Bagley's valuable work as secretaxy, Mrs Henley presented her with a token in the form of an Evefisharp pencil. On behalf of the guests, both Miss J. Spencer and Mrs C. J. Bagley thank-. ed their hostess for the delightful tea and took the opportunity of bidding her farewell and wishing her a. very pleasant trip. Those present were; Mrs E. A. W, Henley, Miss J- Spencer, Mrs C. J. Bagley, Mrs C. Mofse, Mts B. Barnett, Mrs Rosewarne, Mrs Christie, Mrs A. B. Davis,. Mrs Wood, Mrs C, Corner, Mrs Nioholson, Mrs R. C. Wright, Misses Leithead, F. Smith, Paulknor and G. Fannin, Mrs A. P. Glenny and Mrs A. E. O 'Meara.
