HAWKE'S BAY AUTUMN SHOW
Intending exhibitoxs at the Hawke's Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Society's Autumn. Show ar© reminded that all entries -close on Thursday, March 3„ and exhibitors are requested to send their entries in- as . early as possible before the closing date. Do-g fanciers will be interested to learn tbat the autumn show this year will carry challenge points, and it is expected the extra inducement will result in a large increase of K entries. The poultry section is also likely to show an increase in entries, especially ■in the utility section as no doubt the show bench is a splendid form of advertisement for breeders. The competitions this year should result in increased. entries, and in view of the fact that a New Zealand championship chop is to be staged great interest will result in the axemen'a events, as competitors are expected from a wide area. The handy. hunters' competition included for the first time at a Hawke's Bay -autumn show is expected to be a strong class. Schedules are free .on application to the secretary (Mr A. M. Retemeyer), Church Lane, ' Napier, or Mr F. C. Wilkinson, Queen street, Hastings.
