WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Governor-General has lent to the National Gallery for exhibition to the public some of the pictures belonging to his own private collection. Family portraits will be shown in one section and water colours and engravings in another. Include.d in the portraits are Sir Isaac Newton and Grinling Gibbons, the architect and carver, both by Kneller. One of the coloured engravings depicts the Coronation robes of George IY. The exhibition will be open free for a month.
