20-Ton Flying-Boat's Cruise Round England 1350 MILES COVERED
(Received 24, 8.45 a.m.) RUGBY, Feb. 22. The Imperial Airways f lying- boat Cambria, . which is one of the ffoet of new 20-ton four-engined Empire flyingboats, cituised round Great Britain for nearly nine hours yesterdayj covering 1350 miles. She rau strictly to schedule without trouble, and experts express themselves completely satisfied. The flight was one of the preliminary tests for the experimental trans-At-lantic flights which the Cambria and her sister ship the Caledonia are shortly to undertake. These vessels are equipped with supplementary fcankage for long-range flying and the Cambria yesterday carried 1600 gallons of fuel. Throughout her flight fihe was in constant wireless communication with ground stations.
