Takapau Plunket Society. The bi-monthly meeting of the Takapau sub-branch of the Plunket Society was held in the Plunket Rooms. Mrs N. M. Paulsen presided. Votes of condolence were passed to Mrs Hobson and "family and to the relatives of the late Mrs Bibby, Waipawa. Arrangements were made for taking charge of the tea-room at the Caledonian Sports tO augment funds. Takapau Galf Course. The Takapau golf course greens, which are under the supervision of experts during the off-season, are re- . ceiving epecial treatment in order to bring them up to a higher standard.
