Sitting of H;B. Commission The Hawke's Bay Mortgage Adjqstment Cbinmlssion held a sitting iii Hastings on Tuesday, after which a Sitting Was hegfun in Napier, where it is schedUled to continue until to'-morrow. Future sittings of thei commission will he at. Dannevirke from February 22 to February 26* Pahiatua from Mareh 1 tb Mareh 5, Masterton from Mareh 6 tb Mareh 12, Waipukurau from Mareh 15t tq 19, arid at Napier and Hastings from Mareh 22 to M'arch 25. The present sittings are concerned mainly with' drawing up an order of referenee, and if is not anticipated that the commission will begih the actual -task of adjustment until April. Mr Martin Greenwood is the chairman of the commission, the other members being Messrs Grainger and R. H. White.
