RIFLE SHOOTING
On The Mt. Vernon Range On th© Mt. Vernon range on Saturday afternoon the members of the Waipukurau Defence Rifle Club fired off the final round of Mr A. W. Parsons's trophy (two 10 shots at 500 and 600 yards). * Conditions for shooting were not the best. A changing wind with intermittent showers kept the riflemen busy. When the flnal cards were handed in it was found that Rifleman J. A Chambers was the winner, he being closely followed by Rifleman Renner. Details :
The winner of Mr A. W. Parsons's trophy was Rifleman A. Fryer, who was closely followed by Rifleman Chambers.
