Annual Meeting Held At Porangahau ^From Our O.wn. Correspondent) PORANGAHAU, Last Night. The annual general meeting or the East Coast Dog Trial Club was held in Porangahau on Saturday evening. Twenty-two members were present, and Mr E. J. Wbite presided. The nnnual report and balance-sheet were presented and adopted. The election. of offioers for the ensuing year resulted.— Patron, Mr T. P. Hunter; president, Mr E. J. White ; vice-presidents, Messrs H. M. Christie, M.P., J. D. Ormond, J. D. Ormond junr., P. Canning, J. C. O'Reilly, H. Y. Hill, L. Cowan, H. W. White, R. St. Hill-Warren, G. L. Jamieson, A. W. Parsons, H. Parsons, J. Hunter, A. H. Hope, M. Morrah, T. Hobson and Major Sherston; judge, Mr A. Stead; treasurer, Mr R. McGreevy; flag steward and time-keep-er, Mr Sutherland; field marshall, Mr W. E. Nelmes; yard steward, Mr J. Turley ; dog steward, Mr B. Grosvenor; clearing sheep, Mr M. Davidson; secretary, Mr E. McLennan. The committee was re-elected. The prizes for maiden classes were increased to £3. Mr Nelmes kimdly offered the sheep for the forthcoming trial, which is to be held on April 28, 29, and 30. Several alterations to the yards were decided upon. The question of holding the usual dance on one evening of the trials was left in .the hands of the dance committee-
