Empire Foreign Policy The "Morning Post's" Johannesburg correspondent says there is reason to believe that several Dominions, ineluding , Soutb Africa, Australia and Canada, will urge the abolition of the Dominions Office at the Imperial Conference. It is felt a moreefficient and speedier result will be achieved if the Dominions have direct representations in British Ministerial Departments. Tho question of a common foreign policy for the whole Empire is likely to be raised. The statement is denied in Britain and Australia. Engineers' Strike Ends The strike of Sydney waterfront engineers has ended, and the men are returning to work to-morrow, pending tbe hearing of their claims in the Arbitration Court. Belgian M.P.'s Fight Two Belgian deputies were knocked out, books were thrown and lcicks and blows excbanged in a fierce half-hour fight in the Chamber of Deputies today. The combatants were Socialists and Communists versus Rexists. One Socialist shouted a challenge to a duei Another used his radio headphones to batter Rexists' heads. One was carried out unconscious. The trouple arose from the attempt of Rexists to interrogate the President about his visit to Spain, Catholics' Pledge In accordance with a Papal Eneyclical, Catholics throughout Australia have agreed to take a pledge annually to remain al'oof from cinema pictures hanned by the Australian Central Film Committee. The headquarters of this committee will be Sydney whieh is the ehief port of entry for films and the seat of the Commonwealth 'a ehief i censor.
