WOMEN'S CRICKET

H.B v. Poverty Bay On Saturday Correspondence was received at the meeting of the management committee' of the Poverty Bay Cricket Association on Monday from the Poverty Bay Ladies' Cricket Club asking for the allocatioh of a ground at the Oval next Saturday for the .playing of t^e annual match against the representative team of the Hawke's Bay Cricket Association. It was resolved to heep No. 4 wlcket free for this game. It was resolved to write to the Hawke's Bay CTicket Association trusting that the game just completed would be the first of a series of matches on the home and home basis between the two associations. The secretary was instructed to write to the Wairoa Cricket Association stating that the association would be pleased to have a home and home arrangement of matches in future seasons. Mr Stewart was appointed manager of the senior B representative team to visit Wairoa next week-end.
