CLUB SWIMMING
Meeting of the Mahora Executive The weekly meeting ot the committee of the Mahora Swimming Club was held last evening. Arrangements rvere completed for the Rainbow Shield carnival on Thursday. Mrs Fisher and Mr Geddis were drawn for to fill vacant posiiions on the diving panel. The various duf.it s of club oliicials were revised and the following positions decided upon: Starter, Mr Horton ; rope stewards, Messrs Hay and Grant; call steward, Mr L. Clothier; blackboard, Mr E. Anderson. The following swimmers are to re present Mahora at the carnival . Junior boys, 50 yards, B. Bridge, J. Cameron and J. Brady ; junior gjrls, M. Tritt, N. Thompson; intermediate girls, Misses B. Thompson, J. Hyslop, M. Jamieson; intermediate boys, S. Watkinson, J. Ladbro.ok, G. Tate; senior men, R. Watkins, L. Tayler, T. Kirkley ; senior women, Miss G. Apsey ; junior dive, J. Taylor, R. Dyer. The following programme was decided upon for Thursday, February 18: Junior boys, 50 yards; junior girls, 50 yards; women, 75 yards; intermediate boys 75 yards; open 100 yards; junior dive, ribbon di^e, relay.
