HAVELOCK PROGRAMME

On Monday night, at a meeting of the- programme cominittee of the Havelock North Swimming Club, the following programme was decided on for Wednesday night 's carnival. It was hoped that these cup events would encourage the junior swimmers again to partieipate in the carnivals as they did before the holidays: — Blackmore Cup, 50 yards; junior girls, 25 yards; learners' diving (Ranmore Cup); learners' width; Christie Cup, 100 yards; women and intermediate girls, 50 yards; Nimon Cup, 100 yards; backstroke race, 50 yards; pillow fight, scniors; blindfold race, juniors; junior and senior diving; water polo.
