OTANE, Jan. 26. The funeral was held at Woodville of Mrs Davidson, wite of the Rev. G. W. Davidson, vicar of Woodville and the first resident vicar of Otane. During her long residence at Otane Vicarage, Mrs Davidson, wlio was a worthy helpmate took an active part in all parish worb, and was personally known ■ to young and old for her generous, kindly and thouglitful nature. During her residence in Otane the late Mrs Davidson was largely instrumental in establishing St. Hilda's home for orphan children. Deceased also formed a branch of the Mothers' Union, which flourished nnder her guidance. Much devotcd service was also given to the Sunday school by the late Mrs Davidson. For many years she acted as superintendent and teacher.
