Mr V". Parsons, Napier, who suoceeds Mr. E. E. C. Boyes as headmaster to the Waipukurau District High School, has arrived in Waipukurau. Mr Badger, Christchurch, is tbs guest of Mr and Mrs Howard Powell', Otaua. Miss B. Ferguson, Auckland, is on a holiday visit to her aunt, Mrs H. Hall, "Tayside," Otane. Mr and Mrs E. H. Hutchinson, Gisborne, have been spending a holiday with their son, Mr E. G. M. Hutchins°n, at Pihanga Station, Ruakituri. Mr W. Taylor, secretary to the Wairoa Ha"bour Board, is taking his anuual leave at Opoutama. Miss J. Habgood has /eturned to Wairoa after an enjoyable holiday in Southern Hawke's Bay. Miss R. Saba and Mrs D. Gay, are on holiday in Hastings : Dr. G. R. Butterfield, son of the Ven. Archdeacon M. W. Butterfield, Wairoa, has taken charge oi Queen Mary's Hospital, Stratford, Eugland. The institution has 220 beds, including 80 maternity beds, and the staff under him includes eight surgeons. ' Mrs J. Gordon, Wairoa, is on holiday in Hastings. Mrs D. Hagen and family, Wairoa, have returned from a holiday visit to Hastings.
