Harvey, Fulton and Hill have received mstruetions to sell on the premises, corner of St. Aubyn and Nelson streets, on Wednesday, January 27, at 1.30 p.m., tbe furniture and effeets of Mr F. E. Hodge, wbo is leaving Hastings. Harvey, Fulton and Hill will bold an important isale of superior oak furniture, furnishings, carpets, Singer sewing machine, etc., at tbe mart, Eussell street, Hastings, to-morrow, Tuesday, January 26, at 2 p.m. Harvey, Fulton and Hill will hold a sale of furniture and effeets (including motor car) on tbe premises, 303 Nelson street N., Hastings, on Wednesday, February 3, at 1.30 p.m. on account of Mr J. H. Scott, wbo is leaving Hastings. To-morrow evening the Hastings Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club will bold another of its popular club evenings. Tbe prograihme is advertised elsewbere in this issue, and entries are satisfactory. A good nigbt's sport will be assured. Tbe Port Ahuriri Caledonian (Society will hold its annual Burns ingleside to-nigbt in the Buffalo Hall, Port Ahuriri. Patrons should note the cbange of night from Wednesday to Monday, to-night being tbe Burna anniversary. A splendid programme of vocal items bas been arranged by Mrs J. Eosewarne, and these, interspersed witb old-time and Scottisb dancing, assure all patrons of a good nigbt's enjoyment. Children under 14 will not be admitted. During tbe evening items will be rendered by the society 's pipe band under PipeMajor Lawson.
