CHARGE AGAINST MOTORIST. YOUTH KILLED ON ROADWAY. j lelegrapii- Tress. A.*sociai:ou. AUCKLAND, June 19. A sequel to a fatality at Takapuna on the evening of Sunday, May 7, when a youth named David P. Ellis was found dying on the road, was _ a charge preferred to-day against William McColl, of Otorohanga, of negligently driving a motor car, thereby causing the death of Ellis. Accused, who was charged on summons, did not appear, and the case was adjourned till Wednesday, when the inquest and the charge will be heard concurrently.
