PLEA OF INTOXICATION. PROBATION FOR TWO YEARS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Juno 10. Charles Hcnery Thomas, aged 26, who, while drunk, voted twice during tho recent hospital board poll at Waihi, appeared for sentence today. It was stated that he had borne' a good character. He took little interest in politics and though he admitted having voted twice he did not remember the second time, which was about six o’clock at night. Mr Justice Reed admitted him to probation for two years and ordered him to pay the costs of the prosecution and take out a prohibition order.
