A message from Syosset states that in the course of a rough game of polo a piece of dirt from the hoofs of a pony lodged, under the eyelid of the Prince of Wales and caused him 'considerable pain. The game was stopped atjthe end of the' sixth period, 5 when the Prince drove to Burden Home to await a physician, who removed the dirt.—Aus -N.Z. Cable Assn.
