The Government Meteorologist telegraphed to-day: The indications are for westerly winds, strong to gale, and backing by west to south ; the weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled; rain probable, and the weather will probably become colder; the barometer has a falling tendency, hut rising soon ; sea considerable arid increasing; tides good.
