ARBITRATION COURT’S TASK. COMPLICATED MATTERS; (By Telegraph,—Special to Star.) WELLINGTON, July 15. The president and members of the Arbitration Court, with two special assessors, representing the Railway Department and the Amalgamated l Society, have spent three weeks considering the railwaymen’s claims recently heard by the tribunal. Matters •appear to be so; complicated that the deliberations have had to lie adjourned to enable the Arbitration Court to meet it s engagements. It is intended to resume the deliberation of the railway tribunal of August 12. (BY, TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, July 15. Mr Gilmoiir, secretary to the Railway Inquiry Board, stated to-day that the Minister for Railways had extended the date by which the board was required by the order of reference to report from July 31 to August 12. He added that the board expected to complete its report early in August. The hoard had adjourned in order to enable the sittings of the Arbitration Court in Westland and Marlborough, which had been twice postponed, to be completed.
